How do I order on behalf of my institutional library?

If you are a representative of your institution’s library, we are happy to accept orders directly from you or via your approved consortium or subscription agent. You can contact us by emailing subscriptions@tandf.co.uk.

How do I order a personal subscription?

You can order by emailing us at subscriptions@tandf.co.uk. It would help if you could provide the title to which you wish to subscribe as well as your contact details, including your full postal address. 

If the title offers online access to personal subscribers, you can also order online at www.tandfonline.com, by finding the journal to which you want to subscribe and clicking the ‘subscribe’ button.

Please note: subscriptions purchased at the personal rate are strictly for personal, non-commercial use only. The reselling of personal subscriptions is strictly prohibited. Personal subscriptions may be purchased with either a personal check or credit card or via BACS/Wire transfer and must be received at a personal (private) address. Personal subscribers may purchase a maximum of 4 subscriptions. Proof of personal status may be requested.

Subscriptions are payable in advance and all rates include postage and exclude local and national sales taxes where applicable. Subscribers are requested to send payment with their order whenever possible. Issues will only be sent on receipt of payment. Subscriptions are entered on an annual basis – January to December.

How do I purchase a Single Issue?

If the journal issue is available online, you can order access at www.tandfonline.com.

If you require a print copy of a specific issue, please send your order and payment to your nearest customer services office, or by email to adhoc@tandf.com.

How do I purchase an Individual Article?

If the journal is available online, you will be able to purchase access to the online article by visiting www.tandfonline.com.

How do I order print copies of Backsets, Back Volumes and Back Issues?

Taylor & Francis retains a three year back issue stock of print journals. Older volumes are held by our official stockists: Periodicals Service Company, 11 Main Street, Germantown, NY 12526, USA to whom all orders and enquiries should be addressed. How do I renew my subscription?

We will send you renewal reminders each year when your subscription is due to expire. We offer a variety of simple methods to renew including a secure online payment facility. To renew online you will need a copy of your renewal notice to hand.

What currency should I use for my order?

Customers in the UK should pay in GB£ Sterling.

A Euro rate is applicable to customers from the countries listed here.

We offer lower subscription rates to residents of Australia and New Zealand for a designated list of titles, which should be paid in Australian Dollars. The offer is limited to the titles listed on our Australian Dollar Price Lists which can be found here.

All other customers should pay in US Dollars. Where a rest of the World US Dollar (ROW USD) price is listed, it applies to customers outside North America and Mexico who would usually pay USD.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payment can be made by Bank (Wire) Transfer, Check, Credit Card (Mastercard, Eurocard,Visa or American Express), International Money Orders (UK), Direct Debit or National Giro (551 3057). All payments should be made to Taylor & Francis. Sterling checks should be drawn on a UK Bank Account and US Dollar checks should be drawn on a US Bank Account.

How do I view a Sample Copy?

Our journals have a free online sample copy available for download via a link on the alphabetical listing or on each individual journal homepage, once an issue has been published. Please note that we cannot supply specific issues as sample copies - details for obtaining a specific issue are above under 'Single Issues'.

Claims and cancellations

How do I cancel my subscription?

You may cancel your subscription by contacting us at subscriptions@tandf.co.uk. No refunds can be made after the first issue of the journal for the year has been despatched for print subscriptions and after the 28th February (current year) for online only subscriptions. 

How do I claim for a missing issue?

You must claim for a missing issue within six months of publication of that issue. To claim, please email subscriptions@tandf.co.uk. Please include the full title of the journal you are missing, the year, volume and issue number. Also your full name, address and customer account/order number.

For society members please contact societies@tandf.co.uk. You must claim for a missing issue within six months of publication of that issue. Please include the full title of the journal you are missing, the year, volume and issue number as well as the delivery name, address and account/order number if applicable.

How do I recommend a title to my Librarian?

Recommend a journal or abstracting database to your librarian, via our Library Recommendation Form.

Do I need to pay extra for postage for my print journal?

All subscription rates include postage.

How is my print journal distributed?

Journals produced in the UK and Europe are sent by air to the US, Canada, Mexico, India, Japan and Australasia, and by surface mail to all other countries. Journals produced in the USA are sent by air to Europe, India, Japan and Australasia and by surface mail to all other countries.

Online access

How do I access my personal or society subscription online?

Online access to journal content is available via Taylor & Francis Online. If your personal subscription includes online access you will be sent instructions on how to activate your access once your purchase has been processed. How do I activate my institution’s online subscription?
